Officials from the Kunduz Directorate of Natural Disaster Management have reported that, with financial support from the OHW organization, cash assistance has been distributed to 249 drought-affected families who were previously surveyed and identified.
According to the officials, the first phase of this assistance had already been distributed, and now, in the second phase, each family has received 3,002 Afghanis.
Meanwhile, the beneficiary families expressed their gratitude for the assistance, stating that receiving it has alleviated some of their life’s challenges.
They also called on aid organizations to provide further support to needy families.
Additionally, officials from the Kunduz Directorate of Natural Disaster Management stated that the assistance is planned in four phases, with the remaining two phases set to be implemented in the coming months.
