Officials from Kabul Municipality stated today (Wednesday, 10th Dalwa) in a press conference at the Government Information and Media Center that the municipality has collected a total of 3,168,283,489 Afghanis from urban revenues over the past five months.
According to municipal officials, the collected amount is allocated for urban development and improving municipal services.
They further stated that, over the past five months, 372,984 tons of waste have been transported, 13,207 stray dogs have been collected, and 78,000 kilograms of low-quality food and cleaning products have been confiscated to maintain cleanliness in Kabul.
Officials also reported that during this period, Kabul Municipality inspected 1,241 buildings, prevented the unauthorized construction of 34 buildings, and issued 417 construction permits to maintain urban order.
Additionally, they emphasized that in the past five months, the municipality has taken steps to raise public awareness by publishing 912 video clips, printing and distributing 20 editions of the Pamir magazine, and producing and broadcasting 36 documentaries.
