Following the decision of the IEA leader, the process of land distribution for industrial parks has begun in many provinces.
So far, around 4,000 acres of land have been allocated in the four directions of the capital, Kabul. Additionally, 20,000 acres have been designated for Kandahar, Nangarhar, and Balkh provinces, 10,000 acres for Kunduz, and 1,000 acres for each of the other provinces, which are set to be distributed soon.
Factory owners consider this initiative an effective step in supporting domestic production and facilitating industrial activities in the country.
Some factory owners have praised this decision but have also called for addressing existing challenges in their operations, particularly the shortage of electricity.
According to officials, around 5,000 small and large manufacturing factories are active across the country, providing employment opportunities for over 400,000 people.
