Officials at the Kunduz provincial police headquarters say that security forces from the first district of this command have arrested three individuals on charges of human trafficking.
According to them, these individuals were arrested based on intelligence reports while attempting to transport a woman for resale.
Mawlawi Shah Mohammad Quraishi, the commander of the first district of Kunduz police headquarters, stated that two of the detainees are residents of Kalbad district, while the third is from the city center.
It is worth mentioning that the arrested individuals will be handed over to judicial authorities after the completion of the preliminary investigations.
