The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has announced that South Korea has donated $3 million to Afghanistan.

In a statement, the organization stated that this aid will be used to assist internally displaced persons, returnees, and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan.

According to UNHCR, this donation will help build permanent shelters for 2,800 returnees in Afghanistan.

Additionally, the organization mentioned that psychological and psychosocial support services will be provided to 34,000 Afghan citizens with this aid
