Local officials in Kunduz say that a mosque in the premises of the provincial governor’s office has officially been inaugurated and is now open for use by worshippers.

According to the officials, this mosque was built with a cost of 3.5 million Afghanis, with financial support from the leadership of the government and under the guidance of the Governor of Kunduz.

They add that the mosque covers an area of 216 square meters and has a capacity to accommodate 320 worshippers at one time.

It is noteworthy that the construction of this mosque was completed in just three and a half months.
