Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, stated that his country has little chance of surviving Russia’s attacks without U.S. support.

Reuters reported that Zelensky made this statement yesterday following a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, adding that confronting Russia without U.S. support is very difficult for Ukraine.

He said, “It will probably be very, very difficult; of course, in all difficult circumstances, you still have a chance, but we will have little chance of surviving this war.”

The President of Ukraine emphasized that in order to prevent new Russian attacks, Ukraine must either join NATO or obtain security guarantees equivalent to NATO membership.
