Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, has traveled to Israel for his first official trip to the Middle East.
Rubio arrived in Israel yesterday evening and is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today for talks.
It is expected that the U.S. Secretary of State will discuss the ongoing situation in Gaza, the consequences of Hamas’s attack on Israel, and President Donald Trump’s approach to Gaza.
Last week, Donald Trump announced that after resettling Palestinians in other countries, he would take control and ownership of Gaza.
