Kate Clough, Special Representative of Donald Trump for Europe, has stated that Europe will not participate in negotiations between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine.

She mentioned that while discussions and consultations will be held with Europe on significant issues, Europe will not be part of the negotiations as a whole.

Clough advised her European counterparts, saying, “Instead of complaining about whether you can be part of the talks or not, engage in the discussion by presenting specific proposals and ideas, and by increasing defense budgets.”

Several European Union countries, which have already opposed Trump’s policies, have expressed concerns over this decision.

The leaders of Poland and France have urged European countries to meet in Paris.

Recently, the German Chancellor stated that any imposed peace in Kyiv will not be accepted.

They are also worried that Europe’s absence from the negotiations between the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine could threaten European security.
