Khabib Ghafran, spokesperson for the Ministry of Information and Culture, stated that Radio Begum and Radio Jawanan have been granted permission to resume their operations.
According to Mr. Ghafran, the officials of these two radios have committed to operating in accordance with the policies of the Islamic Emirate and journalistic principles, and will refrain from any violations.
This comes after the Ministry of Information and Culture had previously announced the suspension of these radios due to illegal activities and their cooperation with banned media outlets.
