In a landmark development for Afghanistan’s economy, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum announced the successful sale of 130,000 tons of crude oil from the Amu Darya basin to domestic investors.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, shared this significant achievement on his official page X.

Over the last ten days, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has executed the sale, generating an impressive revenue of more than USD 71.6 million for the country.
