Officials at the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations state that 246 families were deported from Pakistan and Iran overnight.
According to Bakhtar News Agency today, the deportees entered the country through Spin Boldak in Kandahar province and Islam Qala in Herat province.
Reports indicate that through Torghundi, 71 families returned via Spin Boldak in Kandahar, 55 through the Nimroz border crossing, and 82 through Islam Qala in Herat.
Meanwhile, despite international reactions, the expulsion of Afghan migrants from Iran and Pakistan continues unabated.
