Lebanon’s Hezbollah group confirmed that its leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike.
This was reported by Reuters and Associated Press.
This comes after the Israeli military said today that Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the US-designated terrorist group Hezbollah, was killed in a series of airstrikes in the Lebanese capital Beirut a day ago.
It was reported that the leader of Hezbollah was killed outside the party’s main headquarters on Friday
Afikhai Adrei, the Arabic-speaking spokesman of the Israeli army, in a statement published on the X network, ex-Twitter, said that Ali Karki, the commander of the southern front of Hezbollah, and a number of other commanders of this group were killed. He added:
“The message is clear. We will get to anyone who threatens Israeli citizens in the north, south, or on the far fronts.”
The Israel Defense Forces also said on the X network, former Twitter, that Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to scare the world.
The United States recognizes Hezbollah as a terrorist group. The European Union has blacklisted Hezbollah’s military branch, not its political branch. The political branch of Hezbollah has several seats in the Lebanese Parliament.

Reuters news agency has reported, citing sources, that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the leader of Iran, has been moved to a safe place and strict security measures have been taken.
Israeli media reported earlier today that Zeinab Nasrallah, the daughter of Hezbollah leader, was killed in Israeli strikes. Hezbollah has not confirmed these reports.
Hadi, the son of Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in a conflict against Israeli forces in 1997.
