The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that an emergency air shipment containing 78.5 tons of life-saving medical supplies has arrived in Afghanistan from the organization\u2019s logistics hub in Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a post on X, WHO stated that the shipment includes measles treatment kits, medicines for pneumonia, specialized nutritional supplies for children suffering from severe malnutrition, surgical equipment, and other essential medical items. The shipment arrived in Kabul on Friday, April 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to WHO, these medical supplies will assist more than 419,000 people and enable 13,600 life-saving surgeries across Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
