In recent days, several senior Russian officials have visited North Korea. In this context, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov told Kim in a meeting that Moscow is ready to sign a military cooperation plan for 2027\u20132031.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kim stressed during the meeting that his country \u201cwill always fully support the policy of the Russian Federation in defending its national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security interests.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
North Korea and Russia signed a military pact in 2024 under which both countries committed to providing \u201cimmediate assistance\u201d to each other in the event of an attack on either side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
