CBS News reported today that some members of the US military and intelligence agencies have canceled their weekend holiday plans due to the growing possibility of fresh attacks against Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, US defense and intelligence officials have updated the list of forces on alert at overseas bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This comes as some US troops stationed in the Middle East are also being repositioned, a move aimed at reducing the American military presence in the region while preparing for possible retaliatory actions by Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
US President Donald Trump also stated in a social media post that he would not be able to attend the wedding ceremony of his son, Donald Trump Jr., due to \u201cgovernment-related matters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anna Kelly, a White House spokesperson, told CBS News: \u201cTrump has made his red lines completely clear; Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon and cannot retain its enriched uranium.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
