Madani-Zadeh said US sanctions are not a new issue for Iran, adding that Tehran has previously faced and resisted similar economic pressures. According to him, Iran is working to reduce the impact of economic pressure and maintain stability in the country\u2019s economic activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minister acknowledged that recent wars have had a negative impact on Iran\u2019s steel industry and broader economy. However, he said the damaged sectors have been restored and economic activities are continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said his country is not afraid of US economic pressure or threats. Araghchi stressed that Washington\u2019s measures against Iran have so far failed to achieve their intended objectives and that Tehran will continue to resist the pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also emphasized that Iran remains determined to protect its economic interests and withstand further pressure from the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
