In the press release sent from the Khost province office, it is said that these grants have been provided by the World Food Program or (WFP) in coordination with the Department of Rural Reconstruction and Development with the financial assistance and technical cooperation of the (GAALO) organization.
The press release stated that each family was given 2,900 Afghanis. On the other hand, cash assistance has been distributed to 1112 families in Khost’s Alishero, Terezio district and Babraktahana region.
In addition, one and a half kilograms of children’s nutritional supplements and three kilograms of super serial were also given to these needy families.
