Officials from the Red Crescent of Badakhshan stated that today, Wednesday, 3rd Dalwa, they distributed food and non-food items to 550 underprivileged and deserving residents of Khash District in collaboration with the Red Crescent of Qatar.

Mohammad Esa Jahed, head of the Red Crescent in Badakhshan, said that each individual received a 50-kilogram bag of flour, a 5-liter can of cooking oil, and 4 blankets.

He assured the transparency of this aid and mentioned that the amount of assistance would increase.

Meanwhile, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the Red Crescent’s aid and said that these contributions could resolve many of their problems during the winter season.

They called on the Red Crescent and other national and international relief organizations for more assistance.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the Red Crescent of Badakhshan had provided cash assistance of 30 million Afghanis to 1,000 residents of Faizabad, the provincial capital.
