The press office of the 207th Al-Farooq Army Corps has announced that an attempt to smuggle 650 sheep to Iran was prevented by the intelligence and reconnaissance personnel of its 9th Border Brigade.
According to the statement, the smuggling operation was intercepted in the Tipa Khawaharan Pashmaki area of Lash Jowain district in Farah province. Security forces conducted a raid, arresting four smugglers.
The mentioned livestock was intended to be illegally transported to Iran, but fortunately, authorities successfully stopped the smuggling attempt.
