Thousands of patients have been treated over the past year at the Zabul Provincial Hospital. Dr. Nazir Ahmad Harifal, the chief physician of Zabul Provincial Hospital, told Bakhtar News Agency that the hospital provides services in general internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics.
He added that the hospital treated and provided healthcare services to 134,000 patients in the past year. He said that among them, 4,110 major and minor surgical operations were performed, and 3,434 patients were hospitalized and recovered.
