Hundreds of manufacturing factories are active in various sectors in Baghlan province. The head of Baghlan’s Economy Department told Bakhtar News Agency that 377 production factories are operating in the province with a total investment of over 1.22 billion Afghanis.
He added that these factories are engaged in producing flour, oil, salt, dairy products, non-alcoholic beverages, water, agricultural seeds, ice, plastic, handicrafts, as well as operating in construction, transportation, and logistics sectors.
The head of Baghlan’s Economy Department emphasized that these factories have also created job opportunities for thousands of residents in the province.
Additionally, Mohammad Zaman, a resident of Baghlan who works in a flour production factory, called on other investors to invest in various sectors for the development of the country and to reduce unemployment.
