Retired Major General Fazlul Rahman, former head of the Border Guard of Bangladesh, has said that if New Delhi attacks Pakistan, his country should seize the seven northeastern states of India.
He has also called for cooperation with China on this matter.
On Facebook, Fazlul Rahman wrote: “If India attacks Pakistan, Bangladesh must occupy the seven northeastern states of India. In this regard, I feel it is necessary to begin discussions on a joint military agreement with China.”
It is worth noting that tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated following the killing of 26 people in an attack in Indian-administered Kashmir.
