Pakistan has announced that, in response to India’s missile attacks, it has “successfully” targeted key Indian military facilities, including a missile storage base in northern India.

On Saturday (May 10), the Pakistani military wrote on X that these strikes were carried out in retaliation for India’s “aggressions.” The statement said: “These actions were in response to India’s initial attack — an assault on our territory, people, and sovereignty.”

Amid escalating tensions, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority announced the closure of the country’s airspace from 3:15 a.m. local time today.

International media have reported that explosions and warning sirens were heard in parts of Indian-controlled Kashmir and Pakistan’s Punjab province following the clashes.

Meanwhile, the Indian military has confirmed the presence of drones at 26 locations and stated that efforts are underway to track and counter them.
