India and Pakistan have once again accused each other of violating a ceasefire in Kashmir just hours after it was announced.

According to reports, both countries traded accusations of breaking the ceasefire shortly after agreeing to it. Explosions were reportedly heard in the Indian-administered region of Kashmir just hours after the announcement.

Vikram Misri, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, stated in a press conference that Pakistan has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement. In response, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the accusation and blamed New Delhi for the breach.
