According to the White House, these defense deals are part of Saudi Arabia’s pledge to invest $600 billion.
The agreements include the export of GE gas turbines, a $14.2 billion energy sector deal, and a $4.8 billion agreement for Boeing 737 aircraft.
According to the news agency, Saudi Arabia has also discussed the potential purchase of F-35 fighter jets from the U.S., though it is still unclear whether the acquisition of F-35s is included in the defense agreements.
