Israeli authorities report that a missile launched from Yemen toward central Israel was intercepted.

The missile was fired on the morning of Thursday, May 22. The Israeli military has not provided further details regarding the incident.

This marks the fourth missile attack from Yemen targeting Israel this month. Most of these attacks have been claimed by the Houthi group.

Last week, on both Monday and Thursday, the Houthis also launched missile attacks on Israel, which, according to Israeli officials, were intercepted.

Earlier this month, a missile strike near Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport injured several people and caused temporary disruption to flights.

The Houthis state that their attacks on Israel are in support of Palestinians in Gaza and will continue until Israel ends its military operations.
