Reuters news agency, citing its sources, has reported that Hamas executed four individuals accused of looting humanitarian aid in Gaza.

According to the report, these individuals were also allegedly involved in an incident in which six security personnel were killed by an Israeli airstrike. The six officers were attempting to protect aid trucks from being looted last week when they were killed in the strike.

A source told Reuters: “The four executed criminals were involved in looting and in the killing of those responsible for securing the aid convoys.”

The Palestinian resistance group also stated in a statement that seven other individuals are currently under investigation.

According to an international hunger-monitoring organization, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza resumed last week following increased international pressure on Israel.

Aid organizations have said that looting has slowed down the distribution process, but they blame Israel for creating conditions that have left hundreds of thousands of people in desperation due to the blockade.
