The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has announced that Tajikistan has deported 49 Afghan refugees from its territory.
In a statement, the ministry said that the deported individuals were returned to Afghanistan on the 7th and 8th of Jawza (Afghan calendar) and entered the country through the Sher Khan Bandar crossing in Kunduz province.
Among them, 36 individuals had legal residency documents in Tajikistan, while 12 had entered the country on visas.
