U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that both Israel and Iran had violated a ceasefire he had declared just hours earlier. Speaking to reporters before departing for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump stated, “I am not pleased with either country especially Israel.”

Trump added that Israel “launched an attack immediately after agreeing to the deal,” expressing his frustration over what he described as a breach of good faith.

In a direct message to Israel, the president said: “Call your pilots back and don’t drop those bombs.”

He also reiterated that Iran’s nuclear capabilities had been “eliminated.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Israel had accused Iran of violating the ceasefire by launching missiles at Israeli territory an allegation Iran has denied.
