Former U.S. President Donald Trump says that the Israeli side has agreed to a 60-day ceasefire deal regarding Gaza.
He stated yesterday (Tuesday, July 1st) that Israel has agreed to the ceasefire and has requested Hamas to accept the agreement before the situation worsens further.
Although neither Hamas nor Israeli officials have officially responded to this agreement yet, Trump said he is trying to mediate the ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages to end the ongoing conflict.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, on Saturday of this week, Trump also said that the Gaza war would soon come to an end and a ceasefire would be implemented.
