Russian media have reported that travel agencies in the country have recently begun offering weekly tour packages to Afghanistan, with prices around $3,000, targeting Russian citizens.
According to the reports, interest in travel packages to Afghanistan surged after relations between Russia and the Islamic Emirate government of Afghanistan expanded and Moscow announced its recognition of the interim government.
