Russia targeted parts of Ukraine last night with 26 cruise missiles and 597 attack drones, resulting in 22 casualties.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated today (Saturday, July 13) on X that Russia’s overnight assaults spanned from eastern to western Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, Ukrainian air defenses intercepted over 20 missiles, but the attacks still caused damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.
He reiterated that sanctions must be imposed on Russia to halt its aggression, emphasizing, “This war can only be stopped through strength.”
