Police in Kalat city of Pakistan’s Balochistan province have issued an official notice requesting all Afghan refugees to return to their country within the next three days. The letter emphasizes that legal and serious actions will be taken against those who remain in Pakistan beyond the given deadline. Although the central government in Islamabad has not yet made an official statement, some Afghan refugees in Pakistan say the Ministry of Interior has also suspended the visa extension process.
