On Tuesday (July 22), Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran is fully prepared for any Israeli military action and that its forces are ready to once again strike deep inside Israeli territory.

In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Pezeshkian said:
“Israel has inflicted heavy blows on us, but we powerfully struck their depth as well — and Israel is hiding the extent of its damage.”

He added: “Israel aimed to change Iran, dismantle it, and eliminate the system through chaos — but it failed.”

Pezeshkian continued: “We do not seek war, and that doesn’t mean a permanent ceasefire — but we will defend ourselves decisively.” He further noted: “Israel suppresses any discussion of our successful rocket strikes, yet its call for an end to the war carries many meanings.”

He emphasized: “Iran has not surrendered and will not surrender — that is clear to everyone. But we believe in diplomacy and dialogue.”

Pezeshkian also stated: “Never before have regional countries shown such supportive stances toward Iran as they have during the recent war.”

On the nuclear issue, he said: “We completely reject the possession of nuclear weapons — this is our political, religious, humanitarian, and strategic position.”

He added: “Uranium enrichment on our soil will continue in the future in accordance with international laws.”

Pezeshkian stressed: “Any future negotiations must be based on a win-win logic — we do not accept threats or coercion.”

He remarked: “Trump said Iran should not have a nuclear weapon — and we agree with that.”

However, he added: “To say our nuclear program is over is an illusion. Our nuclear capability lies in the minds of our scientists, not just in facilities.”

The Iranian president concluded by saying Iran is “fully prepared to develop a concept of collective regional security in cooperation with Arab neighbors and other regional countries.”
