A total of 220 members of the British Parliament have called on Prime Minister Keir Starmer, through a joint letter, to officially recognize Palestine.
The MPs, representing nine political parties, stated that such a move would send a strong and significant message in support of the two-state solution.
They emphasized that recognizing Palestine would not only establish political balance but also serve as a practical step toward a peaceful resolution of the Middle East conflict.
This appeal comes as France has also expressed readiness to recognize Palestine.
