According to the army, both soldiers were killed in southern Gaza on Saturday, July 26.

The Times of Israel reported that the two soldiers died due to an explosion involving explosive materials during operations in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

Their vehicle was hit by explosives. The names of the deceased soldiers have been reported as 22-year-old Amir Saad and 20-year-old Anon Nurel Vana.

Since the beginning of Israel’s ongoing assaults in Gaza, at least 898 soldiers have been killed, with many others wounded.

In recent weeks, Israeli casualties have increased in Khan Younis and other areas of southern Gaza. Previously, Israeli soldiers had also been killed and injured in this region.
