The head of the National Disaster Management Authority, Nooruddin Turabi, signed a cooperation agreement worth $673,503 with Hans Johannes, the head of the international organization ACTED.
According to this agreement, 1,100 affected families in the districts of Shahr-e-Buzurg, Tishkan, and Kishm in Badakhshan Province will receive cash assistance.
Similarly, assistance will also be provided to families affected by drought in Chal, Bangi, and Ashkamash districts of Takhar Province, Sancharak and Gosfandi districts of Sar-e-Pul Province, and Gurziwan and Dawlatabad districts of Faryab Province.
