According to reports, Germany has asked Pakistani authorities to allow the return of 211 Afghans who were recently detained by police and deported to Afghanistan. The Afghans had been in Islamabad waiting to obtain visas in order to travel to Germany to seek asylum, but were arrested by Pakistani authorities and subsequently sent back to Afghanistan.
