Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that the country’s trade volume with Iran reached $1.626 billion in the first six months of 1404. Of this, $13 million accounted for exports, while $1.613 billion was imports.

According to the ministry, Afghanistan’s main exports to Iran included lead ingots, cotton, raisins, non-alcoholic energy drinks, vegetable seeds, sesame, almonds, mineral stones, processed talc, and dried apricots.

On the other hand, major imports from Iran consisted of diesel and petrol, natural gas, vehicle spare parts, cement, iron, tents, cotton textiles, and eggs.
