More than 2,500 demonstrations have been held across all U.S. states by citizens protesting against the policies of President Donald Trump’s administration. The participants voiced their opposition to actions such as filing criminal cases against Trump’s political opponents, military crackdowns on immigration, and the deployment of National Guard forces to cities. According to police reports, more than 100,000 people participated in demonstrations across five areas of New York alone. Thousands more gathered in cities including Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, and Seattle.
