Reuters news agency has reported that the planned meeting between the presidents of the United States and Russia has been postponed because Moscow rejected a proposal for an immediate ceasefire with Ukraine. According to the White House, the meeting will take place once Russia shows readiness for a ceasefire. European leaders have also called for an end to the war, but the Kremlin says no specific date has been set for the meeting and that there is currently no need for an immediate ceasefire.
