According to Philippine media reports, the severe typhoon “Kalmaegi” has caused 114 deaths and 127 people missing in the country. Reports indicate that the typhoon also triggered unprecedented floods in the Philippines and affected over 544,000 families. The French News Agency (AFP) reported that the typhoon is expected to reach central Vietnam by the end of Thursday.
