Türkiye has rejected reports claiming that some Afghan, Iraqi, and Syrian migrants convicted of crimes in European countries have been transferred to Türkiye. In a statement, the Turkish government’s Communications Directorate said that Türkiye has no agreement with any country to accept convicted migrants from third states, calling such claims impossible.
