The Commission for the Resolution of Migrants’ Problems has announced that 10,405 Afghan citizens were expelled from Iran and Pakistan in a single day.

Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, stated in a press release today that these individuals entered Afghanistan yesterday.

According to the press release, 1,763 families, totaling 10,405 people, were returned to Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak border in Kandahar, Torkham in Nangarhar, Islam Qala in Herat, and Pul-e Abrisham in Nimroz.

The High Commission for the Resolution of Migrants’ Problems added that some of the returnees from Iran and Pakistan have received cash assistance, food, and healthcare services.
