Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has called on the international community to continue providing humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, stating that such support is crucial for ensuring regional security. He made the remarks while addressing the international conference titled “Peace and Trust” in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. Tokayev emphasized that addressing Afghanistan’s humanitarian challenges and supporting its reconstruction are urgent necessities. He added that Kazakhstan will continue supporting the Afghan people through humanitarian aid, educational programs, trade expansion, and food security initiatives.
