The Israeli army has announced that it targeted two Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the Israeli military said that the two Hezbollah personnel were targeted in yesterday’s strike on a house in the Kfar Dunin area in southern Lebanon.
The attack comes as a meeting of the ceasefire monitoring committee—comprising representatives from France, Israel, Lebanon, the U.S., and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon—is scheduled to take place today.
Since the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah was established in November 2024, more than 300 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon, including 127 civilians.
