Protests have further expanded across various cities in Iran. According to reports from international media, security forces in Tehran opened fire on protesters, resulting in numerous casualties.
Time magazine, citing an Iranian doctor, reported that cases of 217 deaths have been recorded in just six hospitals, with most victims killed by gunfire. The report adds that if this figure is confirmed, it would represent the deadliest instance of violence by security forces during the protests.
