After the United States and Iran pledged to continue nuclear negotiations, global oil prices fell by one percent.
In a report published on Monday, Dalwa 20 / February 9, Reuters said that crude oil prices dropped by 67 cents, or one percent, bringing the price of a barrel to $67.38.
The report noted that expectations of upcoming negotiations between the United States and Iran have largely eased concerns over potential disruptions to oil supplies in the Middle East.
Iran and the United States on Friday described their nuclear talks held in Muscat, Oman, as positive and agreed to continue discussions regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
