Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, has expressed concern over the rising tensions between the Islamic Emirate and Pakistan, saying the continuation of this situation could pose a threat to the entire region.
In an interview with Sky News, the Qatari Prime Minister emphasized that the differences between Kabul and Islamabad should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
He said: “When we see such an increase in tensions — on one side in Iran and on the other between Pakistan and Afghanistan, all of which are neighboring countries — it can be a threatening sign for the entire region.”
Al Thani stressed that all countries should turn to diplomacy to resolve disputes, rather than using force or military power.
